Get The Block Look: Inspiring Designs For Your Home

Oh, we do LOVE The Block!

We’re always impressed with the combination of tile and stone used in the builds, particularly in the kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and outdoor spaces.

This season has delivered some bold choices and impressive combinations.

We especially liked the use of white kit kat tiles in Ronnie and Georgia’s ensuites. We explored this style in one of our recent blogs.

At Tile & Stone Warehouse, we can work with you to recreate the look of any room from the new series of The Block, simply by matching and ordering the exact same tile and stone combinations for all your home projects.

To ensure we have the most on-trend styles available for you, we are constantly updating what we offer in our range – including those you see on The Block

This includes a choice of polished, stone, timber, concrete, sandstone and marble-look porcelain tiles. Our most popular types of tile include white bathroom tiles, subway tiles, patterned tiles, porcelain tiles and pool mosaic tiles.

Our tiles are available in a great variety of sizes, including square 300x300mm tiles, to rectangular 1200x200mm tiles, but we encourage you to call or visit our West Gosford showroom to explore the complete range of tile sizes, patterns and colours.

As renovation specialists, Tile & Stone Warehouse knows how to find the best quality tile and stone for every customer.

That’s why we’ve hand-sourced every square inch of tile and stone in our warehouse.

During your visit to our showroom, we can help you find the right style, suggest the best design solutions, and provide a price on the spot.

Now, let’s take a look at some of the room creations.

The Block: Kitchens

Kirsty and Jesse’s country-meets-Hamptons kitchen really wowed the judges, and it’s what won them the kitchen reveal challenge. Those subway tiles on the splashback are a classic feature and you can explore the wide range at our showroom.

Ronnie and Georgia made excellent use of Caesarstone for the benchtops in their kitchen, with judge Neale dubbing it “impeccable” in style and “the new classic!” See some of our other stone options here.

Mitch and Mark’s kitchen was stunning too. A unique use of the Calacatta Maximus Caesarstone and the long island bench was only let down by the lack of a pantry.

Tanya and Vito surprised again with their huge custom benchtop, pink cabinetry and a hidden butler’s pantry. A clean and character-filled design all round.

Josh and Luke’s kitchen featured black and white cabinetry. There wasn’t as much here from a tile and stone perspective, particularly as they went for a timber benchtop.

The Block: Bathrooms

Mitch and Mark’s vibrant feature tiles helped them create a truly stunning bathroom, and it’s no surprise they won the challenge for that week.

The soft tones of the finger tiles and accent tiles pop superbly against the brass fittings of Ronnie and Georgia’s bathroom.

Kirsty and Jesse’s coastal chic bathroom looked beautiful thanks to the blue tilework in the shower against the crisp white tiles and blue sink. Their powder room also turned out to be a full-sized bathroom too!

Tanya and Vito’s unique style and Moroccan feel was accented by the bold chocolate brown feature wall.

Josh and Luke’s dark and spacious bathroom didn’t wow the judges, but we liked it. The tilework is easy-on-the-eye, stylish, forgiving and is the perfect complement to that bathtub.

Just look at that beautiful tilework!

Mitch and Mark created a fabulous marble master ensuite.

Tanya and Vito really went for colour in their ensuite and it worked for us!

Josh and Luke did well on the master ensuite room reveal, just pipped by Ronnie and Georgia – and we like the choice of tiles here.

Kirsty and Jesse’s master ensuite went Hamptons-style, blended with a touch of Colonial. And we really love those blue accent tiles.

The Block: Laundries And Wet Areas

Jesse and Kirsty created a functional laundry with tiled splashbacks.

Meanwhile, Ronnie and Georgia’s laundry ticked all the boxes, Mitch and Mark’s laundry with garage access offered a mudroom, while Tanya and Vito’s laundry space had Shaynna smiling. Josh and Luke’s laundry was one of the best rooms the twins presented.

These should be more than enough ideas to inspire your next build or renovation project!
