Travertine is a form of natural stone that can be used for indoor or outdoor designs, but its most popularly used for pool coping and surrounding pool areas.
This is due to its hard wearing natural texture, and ability to stay cool under the feet.
Travertine is formed naturally in hot springs. This process is what gives the stone its signature holes across its surface, which are caused by the hot water percolating through the stone. Choose travertine for areas with regular water usage, including outdoor facades, wall cladding and flooring.

Need a matching Pool Skimmer Lid?
A beautiful way to finish off the design of your pool is with a matching skimmer lid. We can supply these for each type of travertine we have in our warehouse. Once installed, the lid will look like it virtually disappears, with a flush finish and design matched to your choice of travertine tile style. We recommend this skimmer box solution as it has a stainless steel tray with a matched pool paving stone infill – this tray supports the stone and protects it from chipping and cracking.
All our skimmer lids conform to the Australian Standard AS, 1926.3-2010, Swimming pool safety – Water recirculation systems.
